• Ryan Saari -  Pastor

Ryan is that guy you know that's usually too loud and talks too much.  Because of this, he is subconsciously attracted to introverts and wishes he was one of them.
A native to Portland, he loves biking, golf, the outdoors, IPAs, and his wife and two little girls.  Although, his real passion is helping people discover who Jesus is, and what it means when it says He came to give "life."
This is why Ryan is here, and why he is not dead yet.

  • Bob & Rebecca Vander Meer -  Associate Pastors

Bob & Rebecca have been living and ministering in South America for the last 4 years, and no that does not mean that they know any good Mexican food recipes, as Mexico is not in South America.

Their passion is to help individuals and families, that have been torn apart by addiction, find health and wholeness in their identity in God. Apart from that, they love to travel, eat & enjoy good liquids. Rebecca is from Venezuela and grew up as a pastor's kid and a missionary kid. Bob is from Las Vegas and grew up on the top floor of a Casino.

  • Kyle Lockwood - Operations Director

Kyle is a musician.  He plays music.
    He's also a father, a husband, a gamer, a carpenter, and a self-professed nerd.
A recovering athiest, this is Kyle's first real "church."  He maintains, rules, leads, and directs all aspects of our Worship, Tech, Maintenance and Online Departments.
Kyle could be doing a lot of things, yet he chooses to be here.  We're lucky.

  • Josh Pinkston - Minister of Music

Josh plays music and enjoys playing music with others. He has been a pastor for a while too. Josh likes to play music and pastor. He lives on the west side of Mt Tabor with his wife (Shawna) and son (Ellis).
Though not required, it is recommended that you greet Josh with a "Go Hawks!"  Or, a backrub.  We suggest just saying Go Hawks.

  • Ron Hockley - Associate Pastor

Raised as a fundamentalist Christian in the backwoods of Alaska, Ron always dreamed of being a televangelist someday, but finally realized he doesn't have the hair for it.
He used to believe if you got your words just right you could talk people into almost anything, but along the way that theory failed him.  Now that he isn't selling anything he's much happier and more fun to be around.
His preferred ministry title is: "The Invigorator."

  • Christine Stenberg -  Kids Pastor

Christine loves kids. A born and raised Portlander, she remembers when the Kennedy School was a school, Lloyd Center was an open-air mall, and when you could actually afford to live in Irvington.  She also loves craft beer and attending Portland Timbers games with her husband Joel and their two kids Georgia and baby Stella.  She finds joy in working with kids and is so very happy to have the opportunity each week to do just that.

  • Charlie Sattgast - Pastor of Hospitality

In his other ministry life Charlie is a military chaplain. When he's not wearing a uniform he's hanging out at The Oregon Community where his passion is to help people grow spiritually and to understand God's amazing love for us in the context of community. He and his wife, Linda, also serve as marriage coaches.

Charlie likes to travel, hike, climb on rocks and mountains, and play music with friends. If you can't remember his name just think Charlie Chaplain...
