Life of Exclusivity
March 20th, 2016 - Pastor Ryan Saari
This Sunday we get into some BIG issues. Truth. Faith. Life. Together we're going to ask the question, "Why are you wrong about everything, and I'm right?" Or something like that. This Sunday we'll be looking at the Scriptures and the idea that Truth can be known. Or maybe not. Let's see what happens...
Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast
March 13th, 2016 - Pastor Ron Hockley
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God" Pastor Hockley teaches us that God can make the impossible, possible.
How to Hate your Parents
March 6th, 2016 - Pastor Ryan Saari
Alright! This week we got a fun one. Jesus telling us to hate our whole families and stuff. I'm really enjoying studying these verses. I find them challenging, and weird. Probably in that order. But this week, we are looking at the true cost and outcome of being a "disciple". Who's in?
Shiny and Chrome
February 21st, 2016 - Pastor Ryan Saari
The Kingdom of God is within you. Oh man. There's a lot in there. Pastor Ryan teaches us that Mad Max: Fury Road brings up some good philosophical questions.
The Golden Rule
February 14th, 2016 - Rebecca Vander Meer
This week, we look at Jesus' very simple teaching that we, for some reason, call "The Golden Rule". What would it actually look like to treat others the way we would like to be treated? Do we think this? Do we teach this? Do we actually live this? Special guest Rebecca Vander Meer shares her story.
Repent or Perish!
February 7th, 2016 - Pastor Bob Vander Meer
"People seldom do what they believe in. They do what is convenient, then repen." - Bob Dylan. Pastor Bob challenges us to look inside ourselves and confront the truth we find there.
January 24th, 2016 - Pastor Ron Hockley
As Roger Daltrey asks, who are you? That's the question that I always have when reading Jesus' story we call The Prodigal Son. Am I the Prodigal? Am I the older brother? Or am I the fattened calf? Good questions.

Our new series is called Words and Stories. We will be looking at, you guessed it, words and stories that Jesus told. Some are the ones we gloss over because they don't make any sense, others we gloss over because we've heard them again and again. But there's more. There's always more. Why is it so easy and natural for us to judge one another? Let's get into it.
Listen to the sounds of a whole 'nother O, The Oregon Community! Join Pastors Ryan Saari, Ron Hockley, Bob Vander Meer and special guests as they pontificate on love, life, and the Bible. From Acts to Zion, the word of God is spoken into our ear-holes and absorbed into our eternal-souls. Join us, who knows, you may learn something!
Together, we're going to go through the life of Jesus. His teachings, and his death and resurrection. Discovering all along the way what this Gospel is. At every step, every stage, it's God flipping civilization on it's head. Reconstructing, not only the questions, but most definitely, the answers.
Holidays, guest speakers and special sermons. Here you will find them all.
This week we kick off our New Series! Together, we'll be spending the Fall going through the Book of Ephesians. We're calling it "Your Church is Too Small".I can't wait for us to dive into this book that is about, among many things, what "the Church" is. Or, maybe more importantly, WHO the Church is. Looking forward to what we discover together.
Throughout this series, we're going to be looking at various ideas, relationships, practices and theories and simply ask, "Is this outdated?" Have we been banging our heads against the wall, trying to break through. Trying to understand. Trying to grow. But in reality, we're approaching the whole thing wrong. It's antiquated. It's outdated.

This isn't going to be another "Put your best foot forward" kind of series. This is going to be a battle, a war. The choice to follow the Spirit, to be lead by our muse. Engage in the power and beauty of this life, or be conquered by it, and just be another epitaph: born this day, died this day. I'm excited to win this war, together. Come join us...
Together we're going to study each of the Fruits of the Spirit, and talk about how they're more than just "good things" that we should do. It's more than just a list of virtues. Right?
As our church approaches a milestone birthday, we take a look once again at who we are.
I thought I read everything... until I read this!
Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time.
He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannont see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. Ecclesaistes 3.11
