With the continued rise of COVID cases, we are once again going to play it safe this weekend and stay home. Ryan will have a message for us here and on YouTube Sunday morning. We will keep everyone updated on service times and locations here, on our socials, and in our Announcements videos. Stay safe everyone!
Indoor services have resumed, however, we will be following the CDC guidance and asking that everyone wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Please join us in protecting eachother as we congregate and continue to meet in community.
"We are a place of change,
growth, friendship and community
based around the life of Jesus.
A place where all are welcome,
regardless of race, religion,
sexuality, politics or background."
We experience God through music, reflection, messages on the new life Jesus gives us, and community with others by sharing lunch together afterwards.
As a guest we expect you to relax, be yourself, come hungry, and enjoy a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Meeting weekly in the Village Ballroom.
When we started, we asked ourselves the question, "If Jesus lived in NE Portland, what would He be doing with His time?" We propose that he would not be overly concerned with getting together with a bunch of people that were just like Him, but that He would be out in the community. Serving.
So, on the last Sunday of every month, our church is Empty(v.). We go out and serve our community.
Together, we take on different service projects each month, no strings attached. Click on the Empty(v.) link on the top of the page for info on this month's Empty(v.) Service project.
Our kids meet downstairs of our Ballroom in the amazing Oregon Public House Community Room during our regular service times, where they enjoy a time of music, sharing, creating, and learning about Jesus. Your children are welcome to remain with you in the main service, or we have a Nursery for the babies, a class for toddlers & preschool, one for Kindergarten-5th grade, and a Middle School aged group as well.
